Who We Are
We are a design studio that offers an integrated approach to Architecture and Engineering, seen as arts capable of shaping functional and sustainable spaces.
We are distinguished by our attention to the coherence and elegance of forms, giving particular emphasis to proportions, harmony of spaces and attention to detail.
With a pragmatic analytical approach, we remain at the client’s side in every phase of the project, from initial planning to implementation; we offer tailor-made solutions that meet your specific needs.
The Studio is managed by the two founding partners, Mauro Sciarra and Maria Boccalini, architects who coordinate a team of about 40 internal and external collaborators.
What We Do
Archimama operates in the public and private sectors, realizing residential, educational, commercial and urban projects.
Our method of integrated research and innovation follows a process designed to respond to today’s social and environmental needs, safeguarding the interests of future generations.
Our design activity uses BIM Technology: a cutting-edge tool that, with the creation of a three-dimensional digital model, guarantees efficient and dynamic management of the project, in synergy with the client.

THE FOUNDERS
Maria Boccalini
Architect and Founder
I have always been passionate about architecture. Since I was a child, I used to redesign in my mind the plans of the buildings I visited, and I liked to imagine solutions to change and improve their spatiality and functionality.
I am convinced that the work of the Architect has a profound ethical and social value: the future of our generations is linked to the way in which cities are designed to asure a correct balance of social, economic, energy and, above all, environmental considerations.
On the projects I follow I am committed to optimizing spaces, thus improving quality of life.
I met Mauro in 2004. We share the same values and objectives, despite having two completely different approaches: Mauro has great commercial talent and knows the dynamics of on-site production well, while my qualities are better manifested in the design and organization of the Studio.
Mauro Sciarra
Architect and Founder
For me, Architecture is more than a profession: it is the realization of an intuition, a thought that becomes reality. We start from forms and dreams and transform them into works that last over time.
Having grown up on construction sites, I have always found comfort in seeing ideas transform into tangible realities. This passion for practicality led me to explore Architecture with a style that favors cleanliness, minimalism, simplicity and the eternal, which never tires.
My career took a decisive turn when I met Maria. Working for the same client, we decided to take a gamble together. From that moment on we became a complementary team: Maria acts as my “shock absorber”, because she has the extraordinary ability to materialize visions, while I dedicate myself to making these dreams concrete, following the construction from beginning to end.
